FAQ | How is Dante® audio distributed to an L Class array?
Get an overview of how Dante® audio is distributed to an L Class array.
Answer
When a LA108/LA112 loudspeaker array is created, all of the parameters are linked, such as EQ, Delay, Gain etc. Additionally, the Dante Transmitter (TX) subscriptions are also linked, which means that all loudspeakers receive the same Dante audio from its assigned transmitter. Because Dante uses multi-cast traffic, one transmitter (such as a digital mixer) can stream to multiple receivers (such as a line array system).
