Quick Tip | K.2 Series Useful Features
This article highlights some of the features of the K.2 Series active loudspeakers.
Today's Lesson
The K.2 Series loudspeakers have three separate inputs.
- Input A can be mic or line level.
- Input B can be either a line level input or set to high-Z, making it suitable for musical instruments that have passive magnetic or piezo pickups. That’s right, the K.2 Series loudspeakers can be used as guitar or bass combo amp.
- Input C is a stereo input with a 3.5 mm stereo jack, suitable for playback from portable digital audio devices such as phones, MP3 players, etc. This makes the K.2 a perfect solution for the singer/songwriter environment!
All K.2 Series also include powerful DSP capabilities.
Onboard you’ll find:
- A crossover to optimize top boxes when paired with an active subwoofer.
- A 100 ms architectural delay. This is useful when setting up a distributed sound system with delayed sources. The loudspeakers placed on the sides and rear of the room can be adjusted individually using the on-board delay, so that they are time-aligned with the main PA.
- A four band parametric equalizer, for optimizing the loudspeakers for any acoustic situation.
- And finally, the ability to save user scenes, so you can store all the DSP parameters that you’ve chosen and recall them instantly. You can use these to save specific settings for various venues or applications.
